after a month on the west coast, we were a little sad to be heading back east. we left san diego and hit phoenix for a surprisingly fun festival gig. next, we booked it over to albuquerque, nm for a house show at my cousin sam’s place near the university. It was amazing, and ben took his first guitar solo in front of a crowd. It was sick… jt has a video so hit him up if you wanna see it!

The next morning we drove 3 hours out to white sands, a massive desert known for its dramatic landscape of white gypsum sand dunes. white sands is one of those otherworldly, spiritual nature zones. after a day there we all felt cleansed, energized, and grateful. check the gallery below for some photos of our day at the sands, captured by sam katz.
